An Open Letter to the Principal

Dear Mama Woolf,
Cause I’m not perfect, and I bet neither are you if you listenin so just, uhh, tune in…Uh Yea Man, Vo, Back Again Like We Never Left Huh. Still yawning from the night before, at the club I was up I’m tryna live, only twenty two my boy, ‘bout to be twenty three ya dig? And The Club District is poppin like literally every week.
I’m from the city where people be gettin lazy litterin’ in the streets. That is when all the press articles happening and the cameras get to snapping and they try to make you out as a lie that’s exactly why I often get burned and I guarantee the cameraman will still be snapping candids of you and your posse partying drinking what you get handed, don’t believe the lies. Look me in my eyes, what’s a life with no fun?
Please don’t be so ashamed, let’s call up I’m drinking, let’s all get wasted. I’m drinkin’, lets all get faded, runnin’ through the 6 with my woes. I hate getting, messages from you, from you, it’s like you know the perfect shit to say fucks up my whole day. When the lights don’t glow the same way that they used to and I finally get a moment to myself, I got a feeling I’m wrong. Nowadays most of the thrill of just chillin’ is gone and uh, see I’ve been searching; I don’t know what to do. Can you help me? I’m not perfect but I got a desire to improve. You see, there’s a lot to lose. Oh oh, trust issues, how reckless I have been? Making all the same mistakes, and I’m just trying to correct it. You need to just let this play out, we’re gonna try to try harder cuz.
So can you do me a favor if we pull it together make it sooner than late; you know, everything gonna be alright, I promise. Apologize to you now, to put ya’ll in this position and vent to ya’ll but, mom always say, “Don’t ask permission, just ask forgiveness” You know, so… forgive me.
You won’t ever have to worry, we’ll change the pace and we’ll just go slow.
